Key thought:
Our life is the first of a truckload of gifts which God has given to each of us. The more he has given to each of us including possessions, relationships, experiences, talents, knowledge, skills, and health, the more he expects from us. You see, he didn’t just give it all to us to be consumed in whatever whimsical manner we pleased. God gave it to us to be managed in a way that would bring Him the greatest glory. We get one shot at this life and in the end everything will be evaluated with the question, “so what have you done with the gifts I have given you.” Ultimately our goal is that the end result of our life’s evaluation is that our creator will say, “well done good and faithful servant.”

Bible Reading:
Mon – mt 24:32-41
Tue – mt 24:42-51
Wed – mt 25:1-13
Thurs – mt 25:14-30
Friday – mt 24: 31-46
Key Questions to ponder during the week:
- What things do you work hard at during the week and what goals are represented in the work you do?
- Is there anything wrong with being a rich person or in pursuing wealth?
- Define the word faithful. If your life came to an end today, what areas do you believe God would say you’ve been “faithful.” How have you been unfaithful?
- Does God ask us to be faithful in ways that aren’t related to money, possessions or natural talents?
- How does being a faithful steward demonstrate my trust in God? In what area does God want me to trust him more?
