Sometimes I feel like we all suffer from a type of Christian ADD. We hear God's Word, but before we have a chance to really apply it we're on to studying or learning about something new. Always filling our minds with content, but failing to take any steps forward in our spiritual growth. If we're honest, there have been many times that the quality of our application has been diminished by the quantity of our study. My hope for all of us is that God's Word is truly and actually transforming us into different people! Feel free to hit the "comments" button below and share any thoughts you have on the matter.

It is amazing to me that I can leave church on any Sunday and feel heartfelt and even feeling your words from the sermon. Wanting to behave and be a better person. Yet, get out on the street to drive or go to the market on the way home and it is sometimes a few minutes that this feeling and want can just explode in my face so to say. The slow driver that cuts me off and then puts his blinker on last minute to turn can make my heart turn cold. Or even the slow, listless, and seemingly useless cashier can cause heat under my collar. It is amazing sometimes how I can turn into such a person that has no compassion or understanding for my fellow human. I do catch myself most times and take a chill pill but have been at other times a character that is non-christianly.
